What is the one thing you have learnt over your years as an agent?
That everyone has a story, and not all properties are the same. Listening is integral to understand the situation, and selling your property can be the most stressful time of your life.
What are your vendors currently saying about the market?
My vendors are still delighted at the prices that are being
achieved. They see we have returned to a more “normal” market after
the incredible peak over the last 2 years. With the rental market as
buoyant as the sales, it is wise to know exactly where they are planning
on moving to and when, and to have this secured before their property
goes to market.
What advice would you give to your vendors for the best outcome?
Presentation is paramount at the moment. Buyers expect excellent marketing, photography, content and up to the minute staging/styling to pay top prices. To achieve a smooth and effective sales result, lets discuss the renovations you are planning and the maintenance that’s required. Some things are worth the investment for sale, and some are not. As a busy agent in this market, I am speaking with and seeing buyers more regularly than before, and I see what they are looking for, and what they are wanting in their new property purchase. My advice is to contact me and ask the questions.
What are buyers currently saying about the market?
They see the return to a normal real estate cycle and are very savvy
with their online research.
There is a return to the majority of local buyers in the area now,
although many buyers relocating are still looking for property here.
What are your interests outside of real estate?
Riding my Z650RS along the beautiful country roads here.
I love to SUP at Lake Ainsworth, love Lennox Head beaches, boxing,
painting and growing my own food.
